The contest breaks down into four tracks: Best Analog Design, Best Digital Design, Best PSoC Creator Component Design, and the Community Choice Design – selected by popular vote of the Cypress Design Community (www.cypress.com/go/community). Community members who vote on submitted projects will also be eligible for prizes – and community registrants are eligible to win a free Apple iPad – so get registered now! Visit www.cypress.com/go/challenge now to check out the contest and enter your design. Here’s how it works: ? Stage 1 - Submit a schematic block diagram and abstract of your idea by January 10, 2011. ? Stage 2 - 100 first round winners will receive a PSoC 5 design kit and will then submit a video of their completed designs, along with a project file created in Cypress's PSoC Creator IDE. Four winners will be selected – one for each contest category. Winners will receive $1,000 each. ? Stage 3 - The $2,500 Grand Prize will be selected from the four winning designs by an all-star panel of judges, including Cypress President and CEO, TJ. Rodgers; ARM Director of Enterprise and Embedded Solutions, Ian Ferguson; and Brian Fuller, Chief Product Strategist for EE Times. Get registered now to submit your design and have your say. |
