ROCKLAND - Two Rockland men face charges they beat a man with tree
branches and stabbed him after getting into a fight over a loose dog.
Jared Crawford, 20, of 220 Liberty St., and Robert Stanton, 20, of
586 Salem St., were scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at Hingham
District Court. Stanton is independent escort girl in shanghai charged
with attempted murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Crawford is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Police were called to North Avenue and Salem Gucci bags Street
shortly before 10:30 p.m. Monday. Officers Gucci bags Thomas MacDonald
and Jack O'Connor found a 34-year-old Rockland man who had injuries on
his face and hands.
The officers reported that the man had been walking down Salem Street
toward North Avenue when he saw a dog running loose near Stanton's
house.

and then, witnesses told police, Crawford and Stanton chased the man to
the town forest on North Avenue. That's where they allegedly hit him
with tree branches and stabbed him with a knife. The victim was taken to
South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.
