原创 mdelsim (6.5c) installation

installation:

1. install modelsim (6.5c)
(1) "No" when installing Security Key
(2) "Exit" when configuring Liscense Wizard

2. crack modelsim (6.5c)
(1) run "MentorKG.exe", generating "LICENSE.TXT"
(2) copy "LICENSE.TXT" to modelsim installation root folder
(3) set system variable "LM_LISCENSE_FILE = [path of "LICENSE.TXT"]"
(4) run Liscense Wizard, set [path of "LICENSE.TXT"]

3. open modelsim (6.5c) to check if it's cracked.

prerequisite:

1. xp sp3

2. modelsim 6.5c: downloaded from official website

3. crack file: can not upload, saying "contact with administer"

1. already has modelsim 6.2b
(1) relative system variable is "MGLS_LICENSE_FILE"

debug:

1. use "LICENSE.TXT", generated by ModelSim6_5_KeyGen, is approximately 105kB

2. do NOT use "modelsim.dat" or "LICENSE.TXT", both generated by modelsim_6.3f_6.4b_6.5_crck, which is approximately 57kB
