原创 modelsim (6.5c) compile

compile methods:

1. bat

(1) cmd>compxlib -s mti_se -dir all -l all -o c:\Modeltech _6.5d\xilinx_libs -p c:\Modeltech_6.5d\win32
where c:\Modeltech _6.5d is modelsim root path

(2) in library section of "modelsim.ini", add:
Xilinx_CoreLib = C:\modeltech_6.5\xilinx_libs\XilinxCoreLib Xilinx_unisim = C:\modeltech_6.5\xilinx_libs\unisim Xilinx_simprim = C:\modeltech_6.5\xilinx_libs\simprim

(3) restart modelsim

works well with ISE11.5 and modelsim 6.5c, although there's a warning:
WARNING:Compxlib - The EDK version '10.1' is not compatible with the ISE version '11.5'.

2. ui

ise-accesserise-Simulation library compilation wizard

problem: 11.5 can't find 6.5c; 10.1.01 can find 6.5c and 6.2b

3. manual - generate 3 standard libraries of xillinx

After running modelsim, it will load these libraries automatically.
Simprim_ver: PAR simulation
Unisim_ver : post-synthesis simulation
Xilinxcorelib_ver: IP core simulation
