ESD device can protect the circuit, but high capacitance ESD device will cause the problem of losing data.

Not only the high capacitance caused losing data, choose wrong voltage of ESD device will also caused losing data.

Please find below analysis diagram.

Choose 3.3v or 5v ESD can both cause losing data. As highlighted in yellow.

There must cause lowest voltage and highest voltage during the transmission. So it is very important to use ESD.

8.0V ESD product is the best choose for the above data transmission.

RJ45, 100/1000 interface, the Vrwm is 3.3V. But it will be best to choose ESD No. LC08CI

to avoid losing data.
