The gain of the amplifier is set by the input resistance. Differential signal processing cancels the noise from power supply or noise picked up from input terminals. 2. The common input voltage at both inputs does not affect the common output voltage or the voltage gain. The rejection of common voltage at the inputs provides a convenience of interfacing the device to an audio source with certain DC voltage and the input coupling capacitors can be eliminated as shown in figure AP1.
