原创 Paladin Ninja-Tanking on Majordomo

"Since this came up in ZG, this is why it is a good idea to pally ninja-tank
domo. The Majordomo Executus fight is set up thusly: You fight Majordomo and
eight adds. Four of the adds are Elites, four are healers. The healers can be
sheeped, the elites cannot be. Also, if you take down more than two elites, all
sheeps pop and are immune to polymorphing for the rest of the fight.
Furthermore, Majordomo has a nasty tendency to teleport his main tank into the
lava and wipe his aggro on that target. As a result, these are your tanking/cc
requirements: Domo: 2 tanks 4 elites: 1 tank per elite, plus one backup. 4
healers: 1 mage per healer plus one tank breaker. As a result, you need
essentially seven to eight tanks. Since most guilds run MC with six to seven
warriors, having a backup paladin tank is very useful. There are two ways this
can be done. I will post the most effective method here. When the fight starts,
each elite has a hunter peel them off the main pull to their respective tank,
and two tanks charge in to Domo to build aggro together. This should be one
warrior and one paladin if you are new to the fight. The warrior will build more
aggro at first, but a good paladin will use consecration to build his aggrotable
back up. Since Domo cannot be killed, no one else should really be high on his
aggro list. During the fight, the paladin keeps judgment of light on Domo. Since
the fight lasts 6-7 minutes, judgment of light will literally heal the main tank
for several thousand health over the fight, extending mana pools at least
somewhat. Further, if the warrior gets teleported, then the paladin has aggro
and you still have a backup warrior in case one of the other tanks goes down.
Since the kill order is two elites, four healers, two elites, you can get away
without using a paladin even if you have six tanks.

wow gold However, since the
fight is very confusing and very fast at first, a paladin on Domo can land heals
while building aggro, and there is a high likelyhood that one of the tanks will
go down. I have done this very successfully in the past. " "The original thread
has gotten long and a bit away from my original post. Therefore, I'm launching a
new thread for the purpose of stimulating some thought about the guild's
warriors and what you can do to be an active, contributing part of TG. I'm
delighted to see more warriors in the guild, both those arriving from elsewhere
AND those who have reached level 60 where end-game is in sight. wow
gold
For the most part, I'd consider us ""full"" as a class. Because of my
advanced age and tenure as...well, I'm gonna share some thoughts with you anway!
1. Gearing up for end-game. This is particularly a topic for Protection Spec
warriors, but applies to any warrior that wants to be a part of TG's end-game
raiding. world of warcraft gold You NEED to
focus on getting the gear that gets you ready for MC/Onyxia/AQ/ZG. The typical
warrior armor path leads to the Valor set and then beyond...+defense gear for
tanking, +hit/crit gear for DPS and FR gear for all. I want to encourage all
warriors to go after their gear. wow gold
Do some research, figure out who drops what (Research
here...http://69.41.171.43/index.htm) and make runs or quests to get what you
want. This is a lot of time and effort! The key thing, though, is that most of
your gear upgrades are blue drops that aren't found in ZG or AQ or MC. They come
from quests (e.g. mp3 player [Ornate Adamantium
Breastplate]or from UBRS/LBRS/Strat/Scholo/Dire Maul...heck, even BRD. Most
items are BOP so you can't buy them.

This means you'll be busy, since we need warriors for raiding, but you need the
gear from instancing the 5 and 10 man spots. You know who you are...if you
already have your Valor set or its equivalent, then bravo! You'll need to start
chasing FR gear. wow gold
If you are working on your Heroic set, even better. Better gear makes it easier
on the healers to keep you up and is critical for the MT role. Good
gear=survival. And there is a LOT of good gear that is not part of a set. 2.
Roles and numbers.
