Certified Wireless USB (WUSB) is a new shortrange,
high-bandwidth wireless extension to
the USB standard, designed to combine the
speed and security of wired technology with
the ease-of-use of wireless communications.
WUSB is based on Ultra-WideBand (UWB)
wireless transport defined by the WiMedia Alliance,
and is designed to provide 480 Mb/s
throughput at distances up to 3 meters (10
