INTRODUCTION
Part I, theoretical expressions are derived for the equivalent circuit parameters of theslotsshowninFig. l of Part I. Theseslotsaretherotatedseriesslot,thedisplaced series slot, and the longitudinal shunt slot, all located the broad face of rectangular waveguide. They possess, respectively, a series, a series, and a shunt equivalent network. Both the series and the shunt networks may be put into two alternative forms, as indicated in Fig. 1, below.
