Introduction & Specifications Whereas noise and nonlinearity in the RF front-end determine the sensitivity of a wireless receiver, the filters wholly govern its selectivity―that is, its ability to pick out a signal of interest in a frequency band, while rejecting all the other nearby signals populating that band.
