Quite a few Pooh Sticks have drifted under the bridge since I first got in touch with my chum Adam Taylor. It all started when I read one of Adam's columns in the Xilinx Xcell Journal, following which I invited him to become a blogger on the All Programmable Planet website for which I was the editor.

Since then, Adam has written a copious number of articles and spoken at numerous conferences, including giving the keynote presentation at the FPGA Forum in Norway earlier this month.

Adam has also held track chair and speaker positions at various ESC Conferences (also at the Design West and EELive! Events). One of the great things about this is that we get to meet up at these venues and exchange tall tales of derring-do with regard to our engineering prowess.

In fact, Adam will be speaking at all three Embedded Systems Conferences in the USA this year, starting -- of course -- with ESC Boston, which takes place May 6-7, 2015.

Adam is head of engineering for space-related "stuff" at the UK company E2V, so he "knows his onions" when it comes to creating mission-critical systems.

But we digress... Adam just emailed me to say that he recently came to the realization that he's created a huge amount of content since he first started his writings. In fact, he was really surprised to discover that seven years have whipped past his nose since he penned his first piece (welcome to my world, is all I can say about that).

Adam decided that it would be a good idea to have a "one-stop-shop" type website containing links to all of the Internet locations where his writings reside. In addition to a number of free e-books he's created, along with his musings on things like reliability and suchlike, there's a wealth of information on FPGA-related engineering, including "70 and counting" articles on the Xilinx Zynq SoC FPGA and how to use this little beauty.
